Official Opening

Perth Town Hall Main Hall, by Invitation Only - the Hot Ticket that money can't buy :)

The Festival will be officially opened by The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor, Lisa Scaffidi and The Honourable Francis M Logan BA (Hons) MLA Minister for Energy, Resources, Industry and Enterprise.

Keynote Speech of the Festival will be delivered by Posie Graeme-Evans, creator-producer of McLeod’s Daughters, co-creator of Hi-5, best-selling novellist, lyricist and all round dynamo.

Other Guest Speakers will do brief introductory talks to give you a sense of what’s coming up in the Festival, and there will be a screening of the Get Reel, showcasing some of the very best Western Australian Digital Content.

This will be followed by a surprise entertainer who you might not expect at a digital festival, but whose success has been very much helped by the latest online tools.

Seating will be cabaret style, but informal - I encourage you to swap tables in between speakers and meet some new people from across the Industry, Education, Entertainment, Media and Arts sectors.

Dress is smart casual.

Drinks and canapes will be served. Niche Bar’s Andrew McIntyre, winner of WA Bartender of the Year in 2007, will be creating a signature cocktail for the Festival.

RSVP by Friday 16th November is essential. If you've actually been invited, you know how to RSVP.
